Champions for Children turns movement into mission — empowering people to cycle, run, swim, and move to unlock education for vulnerable children.
As a project of iKhethelo & Lily of the Valley Children’s Villages, we provide loving homes and access to quality fee paying schools for more than 100 orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa.

Education changes everything!
In South Africa, vulnerable children face overwhelming barriers to quality education. Many local schools are overcrowded, under-resourced, and unsafe.
At iKhethelo and Lily of the Valley Children’s Villages, we deliberately place our children in better fee-paying schools to give them:
• Safer environments • Strong academic foundations • Sport and leadership opportunities • Access to university and career pathways
But a better education comes at a cost ...

This July, Graeme, our CEO will ride the Amashova Cycle Race from Pietermaritzburg to Durban to help restore the bicycles at Lily of the Valley Children's Village.

Education Matters - This is one of our graduates from ikhethelo. From prefect & 1st team Rugby at Hillcrest High to Civi Engineer.
Meet Dr Sthe. He grew up at Lily & is now a doctor working in Cape Town, studying further to be a gynecologist.
Meet Fusi. Fusi grew up at iKhethelo. He is now a qualified chef, travelling the world working on a cruise liner.
